It all started on April 1st in the beautiful Vondelpark in Amsterdam. A group of friends, tired of the commitment and inflexibility of traditional football clubs, decided to start FC Urban. With only 2 goals, 2 balls, 14 bibs, and 8 friends, they played their first match. Four complete strangers also joined in, and FC Urban was born.

Fast forward a few weeks, and FC Urban had expanded to 80 matches per week. Today, FC Urban is live in all major cities in the Netherlands, London, and even more cities around the world. But FC Urban is more than just football games; it is a community of over 102 different nationalities, all brought together by their love for football.

At FC Urban, we believe that our concept is perfect for cities. We aim to create a new kind of football experience that suits city life, providing flexibility and ease for our members. We are not just a football club, but a platform for meeting new friends, organizing social events, and participating in tournaments.

One of the things that sets FC Urban apart from traditional football clubs is our use of gamification. We track all player stats, from win/loss ratio to goals scored, and generate leaderboards of the top 10 players. Our algorithm helps us create the most balanced teams possible, ensuring fair and exciting matches.
